Let’s do this!
Hello all. Today is my “day one”. Everything and everyone has to start somewhere, right? I welcome you all to my first day; my first day of accountability and mindfulness. I will no longer let my passive attitude and destructive cravings control me. That is not to say that I am going to be a food fanatic either. I will, however, be MINDFUL of what I put in my body. I went to the gym today, the first time in 3 weeks. That isn’t to mislead you into believing that I was a regular participant then.
WOW. This is going to be a crazy journey. I used to always quit. No more. I went to the gym twice today (just to figure out when I like it best).
Afternoon: 30 minutes on stairmaster (level 5-fat burner)
3 reps of 20crunches/20 left crunches/20 right crunches
Night: 60 minutes on treadmill (level 5-random)
3 reps of 20 crunches/ 10 push ups
Although I don’t want to burn myself out, I feel like I need to be aggressive (two weeks hard) then take it down a notch (one week moderate) then amp it back up (two weeks hard). We’ll see how this works. Today, I ate too little calories. I wasn’t hungrey so I had a protein shake after my work out. 6 oz chicken breast and asparagus for lunch and the same after my night workout. I realize I have to eat earlier. I’m in the arts so my schedule is crazy.
